My Engagement Day (26/04/09)

Wow, it has been more than a month since I last updated my blog...too many works to do...last month I was so busy preparing for my engagement...ooopps, did I say engage? huhu...well, yeah..I am engaged to him officially now....Alhamdulillah, everything went well on that day which was on 26 April 2009...Although it was just a simple ceremony where only close families & relatives were invited (bcoz my fiance pun dtg dr jauh kn, so family die yg dtg pn xramai), but it turn out to be quite a happening day...with all my cousins helping here & there, mmg riuh la...bak kate org, simple tapi meriah...;D it was such a happy day for me & my parents as well...they were so grateful that everything went well more than what we expected...;p so, now since that I'm officially engaged to a guy name Zool Nasri, I juz hope & pray that apa yg telah dirancang akan dimakbulkan & dipermudahkan oleh-Nya..InsyaAllah...Amin...;)

it has been a while since i updated my blog..diz past few weeks has been very2 hectic & the most bz time of the year...what a start off...everyday penat...it seems like d assgmnts never finished even when u do it evryday...too many i supposed...next monday dh start finals la plak...belum ready lg ni..xsempat study lg...week after that kne g pangkor plak..BIG...is it a nightmare or a sweet dreams? we'll see....yg penting, cant wait to get over those weeks...there's 1 important thng waiting to happen in my life...am counting the dates..;p

zebra + horse = zorse

What is Zorse?

A zorse or zebrula is a zebroid, specifically the offspring of a zebra stallion and a horse mare. The rarer reverse pairing is sometimes called a horbra. Like most other hybrids, the zorse is infertile. The zorse is a strong animal with traces from both its parents. James Cossar Ewart crossed a zebra stallion with horse and pony mares in order to investigate the theory of telegony, or paternal impression. Cossar Ewart used Arabian mares. Similar experiments were carried out by the US Government and reported in "Genetics in Relation to Agriculture" by E.B. Babcock and R.E. Clausen, and in "The Science of Life" by H.G. Wells, J. Huxley and G.P. Wells (c.1929). Zorses are bred in Africa and used for trekking on Mount Kenya.


Coloration

Zorses combine the zebra striping overlaid on colored areas of the hybrid's coat. Zorses are most often bred using solid color horses. If the horse parent is piebald (black and white) or skewbald (other color and white) (these are known in the USA as paint/pinto) the zorse may inherit the dominant de-pigmentation genes for white patches, it is understood that Tobiano (the most common white modifier found in the horse) directly interacts with the Zorse coat to give the white markings. Only the non-depigmented areas will have Zebra striping, resulting in a zorse with white patches and striped patches. This effect is seen in the zebroid Eclyse (a hebra rather than a zorse) born in Stukenbrock, Germany in 2007 to a zebra mare called Eclipse and a stallion called Ulysses.


Zorses and humans

"It soon became apparent that zorses are not the easiest of the equine family to get along with." -- Trainer Pat Parelli, on working with zorses. Zorses are preferred over zebras for riding and draught for several reasons, although they are still not as easily handled as horses and should not be ridden or purchased by novices. Their more horselike shape, particularly in the shoulder region, makes it easier to obtain harness that fits correctly. Zebras, being wild animals, and not domesticated like horses and donkeys, pass on their wild animal traits to their offspring. Zebras, while not usually very large, are extremely strong and aggressive. Similarly, zorses have a strong temperament and can be aggressive.


Notable zorses

• A zorse (more accurately a zony) was born at Eden Ostrich World, Cumbria, England in 2001 after a zebra was left in a field with a Shetland pony. It was referred to as a Zetland. This was the inspiration for the 2003 'Song For the Zorse' by London band The Coronets.
• According to local lore brown zorses have been spotted in the foot hills of the Appalachians in and around Charlottesville, Virginia.
• In the Viva La Bam episode Groundhogs Day in the final race, Brandon Dicamillo's sled is a Zorse. It was colored pink, blue, purple and red and on the 'uncommentary' on the DVD seasons of 'Viva La Bam' Tim Glomb says "If you send me a list of all the episodes where the Zorse is I'll give you a dollar".
• The 2007 movie I'm Reed Fish features a zorse named Zabrina.
• An animated zorse appears in the alternate ending of the movie Racing Stripes. It is the son of Stripes (a zebra) and Sandy, a white filly.
• Zorses are briefly mentioned several times in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels.
• Sutton Coleman wrote a sonnet about Zorses and published it in his 2007 book, "Ligers, Tigons, and Zorses, Oh My!"

Bersempena dgn assignment Pentaksiran Pembelajaran ( yg diajar oleh En. Zol), maka tadi kitorg (me & kak Feqah..sori Nik, xdpt ajak sbb Nik gi Khidmat Masyarakat) pn pegi la ke sekolah..Mule2 mmg dh set nk gi sekolah lama aku kt Sepang iaitu SMK Seri Sepang & nk terus jumpe bekas ckgu Sejarah aku dulu, Pn. Zaini (GPK 1)..tapi, rupe2nyer Pn. Zaini dh naik pangkat jd Pengetua kt sekolah lain..wat malu I jer gi tanye kt kerani sekolah tu nk jumpe Pn. Zaini..Akhirnya jumpa ngn GPK 1 yg baru iaitu Pn. Marhamah who happens to be my teacher jgk dlu...Biology teacher lg..=p Jumpe ngn die, jelaskan mksd kedatangan, borak2 & everything..die pn beri persetujuan, xder mslh dr pihak die...tapi...yg jadi mslhnyer ialah...kelas bdk2 tu in the morning..hr isnin & jumaat pagi...clash la plak ngn jadual lecture...last2 Pn. Marhamah suggest kitorg gi sekolah lg 1, SMK Bdr Br Salak Tinggi a.k.a SMKBBST...student yg amik pure science pn lebih ramai..

So, kitorg pn mintak diri & pegi la cube nasib kt SMKBBST...actually, GPK 1 & GPK HEM sekolah ni kawan mak aku...huhu...tapi tak nak la terus2 nk gume cable..baik cube jln 'depan' dlu...kalau mmg xdpt baru la gune jln 'blkg'...ye x? Kebetulan time tu GPK 1 ader klas, nk jmpe GPK HEM, die pn ader urusan..ramai plak org nk jmpe die hr tu...tnggu punye tnggu (sampai naik ngntuk kak Feqah..huhu), akhirnya sampai la org yg dinanti2...pastu, time jmpe GPK 1 tu (Pn. Nik Ainun), kitorg pn explain la purpose kitorg & everythng yg ptt diberitahu..tunjukla skali surat....pastu die comment...jeng jeng jeng...die kate surat tu xjelas mksd sebenar kdtgn kitorg...die kate "kalau sy bace surat ni, sy ingt awk dtg sini nk wt kajian, amik data/maklumat @ nk gne library..xkate pn dlm ni awk nk bg soalan utk student..itu yg sy phmla bila sy bace surat awk ni...pttnye awk kne la buat surat lg 1, yg menyatakan secara detail tujuan awk, utk assignment apa, etc..."...time tu dlm hati dh berkira2, dpt ke tidak ni nk wt kt sini...aku pndg kak Feqah, kak Feqah pandang aku...then Pn. Nik tu sambung lg "bukan ape, ni nk ajar u all jgk..bkl jd cikgu kn nnti..kne tau cm mane nk buat2 surat sume ni..nk ajar adik2.."..fuh, lega....akhirnya die beri persetujuan..alhamdulillah...dptla conduct ujian tu kt SMKBBST...kitorg diberi kelas 5SA (Sains Agama)..'kelas budak pandai' menurut Pn. Nik...=p mungkin mmg jodoh kami ngn sekolah tu kot, kelas bdk2 tu is on Tuesday 1-2.15 pm...ngam2 time tu takder kelas...=D so, kire settle sudah 1 bab...bab kedua blom settle lg..soalan2 blom dibuat..ahaks! knela siapkan sedaya upaya by this weekend!

After that, aku bwk kak Feqah gi sekolah mak aku..cian kak Feqah terpaksarela ikut..huhu...jumpa la blk student2 aku time aku jd guru ganti dlu...aku xperasan, diorg yg panggil 'teacher..teacher!'...seronok jer rase hati dgr bdk2 tu pnggil...aku pn tnyer2 la diorg, skrg dh drjh 3..masuk kelas mane?..sape ckgu kelas?best x blajar ngn ckgu tu?..semua bg positive answer..good2..=p comel sgt student2 aku dlu...semua dh drjh 3, drjh 2...yg dh naik form 1 tu xjmpe la plak time gi SMK Seri Sepang...besides that, jumpa la blk ckgu2 semua termasuk guru besar...smptla btegur2 tnya kabar...mak aku sememangnye ske berckp, berborak, berhujah, memberi tips2 & panduan, etc etc...huhu...bykla tips2 yg telah kak Feqah collect hr ni yer...=p

Lunch td mak aku yg blanje..mkn nasi ayam madu kt Bistro...huhu..pas mkn, aku ajk kak Feqah ke umah...rehat2 & solat kt umah aku..sempat la tgk citer Jelita sampai hbs..haha...dh ade ank rupenyer Jelita..dh la nama anak 'Cantik'..klakar...oops, back to the story...lps dh ckup rht2, mkn2 buah epal (mkn lg..), kitorg pn btolak blk ke UKM...

Begitulah pengembaraan kami utk hr ini...penat weh..pdhal bkn wt aper sgt pn...zzzzzz

Selamat Pengantin Baru

"Selamat Pengantin Baru" kepada semua yg telah, sedang & akan melangsungkan perkahwinan x lame lg...Semalam tanggal 28 Februari 2009 telah berlangsungnya sebuah majlis perkahwinan anak bestfren mama & abah di Banting (umah nenek pengantin perempuan)...disebabkn mama & abah kwn baik kpd parents pengantin lelaki, so kitorg pn ikut rombongan pihak lelaki ke umah pengantin pmpn...konvoi la beberapa buah keta...samapi sane pn dh tgh hari, alhamdulillah cuaca ok...sampai2 terus disambut ngn bunyi kompang & masuk ke dlm umah utk acara bersanding & merenjis...selesai merenjis oleh ahli keluarga sume, br lah acara mkn beradap...time tu perut pn dah lapar...lauk daging masak kicap tu plak sedap...=p selesai mkn, pengantin pn diiring masuk semula ke pelamin persandingan utk sesi fotografi plak...meriah betul bab2 amik gambar ni...=D me, my mom & groom's mom sempat lg naik tingkat atas utk check out bilik pengantin...cantik...sbnrnye nk tgk hantaran same...=p after semua dh selesai, kitorg pn bertolak balik meninggalkan pengantin lelaki bersama keluarga barunya...=)

Lepas kenduri tu kitorg g KL plak...asalnya nk g First Lady kt Ampang Park..tp bila dh sampai kt situ, xder 1 baju pn yg berkenan di hati...hmmm..last2 g jln TAR..kebetulan smlm hr sabtu, psr mlm kt jln TAR..huhu..ramai la plak org...tapi yg bestnya ape yg dicari2 telah dijumpai...huhu..despite keadaan kt situ yg sesak ngn org ramai + hujan plak smlm, suasana ttp best..sbb mcm2 ada kt jln TAR..bleh dpt ngn harga yg berpatutan...

Balik dr jln TAR lalu plak kt gombak..nk g amik adik kt UniKL gombak (sblh UIA)..diorg cuti mid sem semnggu...time tu dgn hujannye, perut pn dh lapar, singgahla mkn kt medan selera dkt2 UniKL tu or to be more specific, kt depan sekolah menengah teknik gombak...kuey teow tom yam die bleh thn la, dh lapar kn...semua pn sdp...pastu br blk umah...sampai umah dh kul 11 mlm...mmg memenatkan..mane xnye, keluar rumah dr pg sampai ke mlm br blk...seharian x mengadap laptop ni ha...

Ape2 pn, "Selamat pengantin baru to abg Hammal & his wife Dr. Nurharnani"...semoga berbahagia hingga ke akhir hayat....

Seminar CTY...

Jam dh menunjukkan detik 2.12 am..sok ade kelas pagi plak tu...adoi..ni semua akibat terlalu asyik nk meng-edit blog ni...huhu..biasela, beginners...semua br nk try & explore...

Anyway, before I go to sleep (which will be in a few minutes from now), just wanted to express my gratitude towards dr. ct for the opportunity given to attend the PERMATApintar UKM seminar ysterday morning...actually tak pernah aware pun of such programs since there were none in Malaysia...skrg program ni dh pn wujud di Malaysia, UKM plak tu perintisnya...bangga bangga...

Another thing that I'm very amazed was the computer games based learning programs which were developed by a groups of experts from various fields..memang sgt2 interesting...even I feel like playing the game...so much like final fantasy or any online games available at the moment...kalau mcm ni la, tak mustahil student2 akan lebih berminat utk belajar mathematics...I wish there will be more of this kind of learning based programs develop for other subjects as well in the future...

Incident of the day

Assalamualaikum....sblm memulakan cerita, ingin dinasihatkan supaya anda bersabar apabila membaca cerita yang panjang lebar ni....huhu...kena baca sampai habis br leh dpt feel die...

Topiknya - Hari yang memenatkan + detik2 mencemaskan!

Sbnrnya, dr smlm aku dh plan hr ni nk g buat stiker ukm utk si kuning tu (keretaku yg comel itu) & nk g PPS utk mintak surat pngesahan pelajar (ni pn sbb mamaku dh bising tanya dah mintak ke blum)..Nak buat ape ngan surat tu? Teruskan la membaca yer..Maka, seperti yg telah di plan, kul 2.40 cm tu, aku pn keluar la menuju ke Wisma Aman..Sekejap jer urusan kt Wisma Aman ni, terus dpt sticker & terus tampal lg..=p

Pastu, destinasi seterusnya nak ke PPS...smpi kt PPS, ramai la plak student2 post grad dr luar negara tgh berurusan (especially pak2 arab la)..Disebabkan tak nak interrupt urusan diorg yg nmpk cam sgt complicated tu, aku pn tnggu la turn..lepas diorg dh blah, aku pn tnyer kt encik tu, "saya student DPLI, nk mintak surat pengesahan pelajar". Encik tu pn jawab "Boleh mintak kt fakulti rasenya, lbh cpt..kat sini kena isi form dulu, lepas 3 hari bekerja br siap". Mendengarkan penjelasan die tu, aku pn ucap terima kasih & bertolak la menuju ke fakulti.

Sampai fakulti, terjumpa ngn kak Suzana..die tgh check nama utk tanda nama & kawasan praktikal nnti..aku pn checkla sekali (padahal mase tu mmg terlupa sgt2 psl tu..nsb kak Su bgtau..thanx kak Su)..Aku pn tanyer bende yg sama kt kaunter fakulti tu..pas tu Pn. Naza pn dtg & bg form yg dh siap print, tinggal nk tulis nama, no kad matrik & no IC jer...Form tu mmg mengesahkan kita pljr UKM, tapi khusus utk urusan kerja kursus/projek/research..Lgpn die xder maklumat sprti tarikh mula jadi student UKM & tarikh keluar dr UKM..Aku pn explain, aku nak surat tu bkn utk tujuan projek, tapi utk pembelian tiket flight..Pn. Naza kata boleh jer guna surat tu..So, aku pn terima jer la...Tapi bile pikir2 balik, takut pihak airport tak terima sbb dah la aku tulis nama & butir2 tu sendiri (handwriting), pastu tak dinyatakan sampai tarikh bila aku jadi pelajar UKM..nanti dipertikaikan plak..

Aku pn pegi la PPS semula..aku tunjuk surat yg fakulti bg..Aku bgtau aku nak surat yg cam maner sbnrnyer & utk urusan apa...Then dia pn suruhla isi form..dlm form tu baru la ada tarikh mula masuk & tarikh akhir keluar UKM utk diisi..ni baru la betul apa yg aku nak...kan senang kalau suruh jer aku isi dr mula2 tadi..pastu dia kate 3 hr lg br siap..okie, xper, aku pn bkn nk tgesa2 sgt surat tu..=) At last, rase lega semua urusan dh settle, nak blk ke kolej..

Baru jer nk happy ni, tibe2 baru perasan matric kad aku tak der..time tu dh kt area Pusanika..Itu pn aku perasan sbb aku singgah Pusanika nk beli barang, tgk kat beg, mana kad matrik td?? Dah mula la berdebar2..positifkan fikiran, mungkin tertinggal lam keta ni..bila dh beli barang, masuk blk lam keta, cari punya cari, tak jumpa2 jgk kad matrik! Aah sudah...mana plak peginya..masa tu lam kepala ada 2 tmpt jer, kalau tak kt fakulti, msti kt PPS..

Aku pn pusing ke PPS blk...otw tu lam kepala mcm2 la yg aku rancang..kalau tak jumpa gak, terpaksa la g balai polis wt report, br leh report kt Wisma Aman..dh poning dh palo den time tu...sampai PPS aku pn mulekn la pencarian..dari tmpt parking smpila dpn kaunter aku cari..takder jgk..Puan yg kt kaunter tu pn tanya, ''kenapa?''..Aku jwb ler ''kad matrik cicir..Puan ader nmpak?''..die kate ''Takder..cube tgk bwh2 tu, ade tak? Tadi awk takder bg kad matrik kn? Isi borang jer kn?'' Aku pn angguk la..mmg btul pn..Hmm,tempat terakhir nk di cari, kt fakulti..

Pusing lg UKM ni..ntah berapa kali tawaf UKM hr ni...aku bwk keta pn punya la laju nk kejar mase..mana tak nyer, masa tu dh kul 4.50..lg 10 minit pejabat tutup..walaupun aku bwk laju, tapi masih berhemah tau..hehe...sampai fakulti, terus lari2 naik tangga..sambil tu mataku meliar jgk tgk2 along the way, ada cicir ke tak..Alangkah leganya hati ku melihatkan kad matrik terpampang di cermin kaunter...rase nk jerit+gelak+nangis jer time tu..yg mampu diucapkan cuma 'Alhamdulillah'..rezeki masih ada...tu pn Cik kat kaunter tu kata "ha, tertinggal eh"..aku jwb jer, "Ha'ah..penat saya cari merata2..Alhamdulillah jmpa kt sini"..sambil tersenyum kelegaan..pastu tak tunggu dah, terus balik kolej la..

Itulah kejadian memenatkan + mendebarkan of the day...bayangkan la, dari kul 2.40 kuar dr bilik, sampai kul 5.00 br sampai semula ke bilik...tak ke lama aku merayau2 dlm UKM ni...apa2 pn, jadikan itu sbgai pengajaran..lain kali jgn cuai! Itulah akibatnya..berhati2 dlm melakukan apa jua perkara..& walaupun kepenatan atau sbgainya, sentiasa senyum, tunjuk muka yg manis & gunakan bahasa yang sopan ketika berurusan dgn sesiapa supaya org pn tak rase menyampah nak layan kita..kena ingat, mgkin kita ni dh pelanggan ke berapa puluh ntah..dhla tiap2 org dgn pelbagai karenah..InsyaAllah, kalau kita bersopan dgn org, org pn akan layan kita dgn sopan..& begitulah sebaliknya...Budi bahasa budaya kita!

exploration begins

adoi...letihnya mengadap laptop ni dr tadi...ingtkn senang nk edit skin ni, rupenyer ssh...ni ntah percubaan yg keberapa ntah...tp xper, juz try & error...u'll never learn anything if u dont explore thoroughly..rite? =)

well, i read a magazine & there are some interesting topics that i would like to share here...it was written by Jim Shelly - Touchy topics: What not to talk to your bf/husband about.

1. His stomach - Men's protruding tummies (when quite gently prodded by a female finger) recoil like an amoeba struck by an electric probe. A "cuddly" spare tyre is never ''adorable'' to the person's who owns it. It's no accident that single man rarely buy full-length mirror.
2. His driving - pity the poor girl who (a) knows a shorter cut from A to B than the route planned by her man & tells him so, (b) suggests that he slows down just a tiny bit when they're supposed to be going for a leisury drive on a Sunday afternoon, (c) drives much better than he does.
3. His mother - of all the touchy topics, this one is probably the most dangerous of all. If his gf loves his mother, a man will feel robbed of the gratification of complaining about how his mother has ruined every one of his relationships. On the other hand, if his mother drives his gf insane, he'll be forced to defend the woman who made him eat his greens throughout his delicate, formative years (his mom). Wise woman know that it's best not to be involved with his mother. This is a no-win situation.
   

start a conversation with a man on any of these topics, & his irate response is guaranteed. His ego is a delicate thing - don't say u haven't been warned!

hello & hi...welcome to my blog...this is the 1st time I created a blog actually...ni pn sbb disuruh oleh En. Zol utk subjek Teknologi & Inovasi...if not, maybe sampai skrg pn blog ni still x wujud lg(anyway, thanx En. Zol)...well, there a so many things yet to be explored....=)
